In the world of ‘naturals’, consumers often need to choose between buying effective beauty products and environmentally-conscious ones. Love Beauty & Planet is the first mass beauty brand to use fully-recycled materials for their products. In addition to this, they ethically source their ingredients, remain cruelty-free, and promote sustainability.
The brand strategy was based in having equal love for both beauty and the planet. No more needing to pick between what’s best for you versus what’s best for the planet. The graphic symbol was inspired by this concept and could be filled in with other phrases such as ‘Love Style & Sustainability’. For the launch campaign we wanted to incorporate colorful art direction to add warmth and playfulness as a point of differentiation from most eco-friendly brands.
